Total Dhamaal Song, Mungda: Sonakshi Sinha Recreates Helen’s Iconic Number
Total Dhamaal’s new number, Mungda, starring Sonakshi Sinha, is out. Showcasing actress’ sultry moves, this peppy number is a recreation of Helen’s famous track, Mungda from 1978 film, Inkaar
Helen created a rage among fans with her super sensuous
moves in Tu Mungda from Inkaar (1978). Forward to 2018, and Sonakshi Sinha is
set to do the same. Well yes, Mungda’s recreated version in Total Dhamaal is
out and it sees Sonakshi grooving like a pro.
While the original had Amjad Khan walking in with a
villainous attitude into the bar, the recreated version sees Ajay Devgn shaking
a leg with Sonakshi. Watch the song below:
The original track was composed by Rajesh Roshan and was crooned by Usha Mangeshkar. The 2019 version has been sung by Jyotica Tangri, Shaan, and Subhro Ganguly and is re-arranged by Gourov-Roshin with additional lyrics penned by Kunwar Juneja.
Total Dhamaal also stars Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad
Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Jaaved Jaaferi, Johny Lever and Sanjay Mishra.
Interestingly, Madhuri and Anil are reuniting on big screen after a gap of 19
years in this film. Director Indra Kumar had spoken exclusively to SpotboyE.com
about bringing Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit together. He had told us, “Madhuri
is a volcano of talent whose talent hasn't be utilised to the fullest after she
returned from the US. I just can't wait
to start Total Dhamaal with her; her chemistry with Anil is simply great.”
Makers had released the trailer of the film, a few weeks
back, and it was no less than a laugh riot. The first dong from the film,
Paisa, has also garnered good response from fans. The movie will hit the big
